We do not cater to beginners. String Travel offers highly specialized experiences designed for purists who want a competitive edge to their sports sessions, combined with a premium, relaxing experience set against the tropical backdrop of the Maldives. Because of the intense nature of our itineraries, all packages are engineered strictly for intermediate levels and above.
2. What exactly is included in the package price, and what extra expenses should I prepare for?

What’s Locked In:
• All local Maldivian logistics and transfers (domestic flights, speedboats, or private vessels)

• International flight tickets to Velana International Airport (MLE)
• Personal sports/travel insurance (mandatory)

3. Can I join a trip as a solo traveler, and how are rooming arrangements handled?
Absolutely. We anticipate participants who are solo athletes, because what we are looking to establish is a high-level community of like-minded peers. If you want the group dynamic, we can pair you with a same-sex roommate to keep your booking streamlined. However, if you require absolute privacy and total freedom to follow your own recovery routine, we offer dedicated solo experiences with private, single-occupancy setups tailored to your schedule with your very own specialized sporting challenges.
4. What happens if conditions change, and how do you handle safety?
Safety in high-stakes environments is a massive pain point for active travelers, which is why we don't cut corners. We mitigate risk by deploying a dedicated, highly certified safety crew with years of experience specific to Maldivian waters and terrain. We operate alongside participants with our own dedicated safety vessel tracking the group at all times. Consequently, if the weather or ocean conditions hit the fan, our local network allows us to pivot the itinerary instantly without compromising your safety or the quality of your session.
5. What is your cancellation and deposit policy?
• To Secure Your Spot: A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to lock in your logistics, vessels, and accommodation.
• Final Balance: Due 60 days prior to departure.
• Cancellations: If you pull out after the final payment deadline, funds are locked due to upfront local booking commitments.
