Raaraa Pro, an extravaganza organized by Iconic Events that breathes modern life into an ancient Maldivian spirit, is on the horizon. With the conclusion of today’s press event and the unveiling of its official logo this Sunday, the first gust in a building storm has already been felt.

Rooted in Maldivian heritage, “Raaraa Gudi” was once a childhood kite,  handmade, humble, and full of freedom. That same spirit later took shape in the sleek sails of the “Riyaa Dhoni”, mastering the wind and sea. Today, it resurfaces in an adrenaline-fueled form: kitesurfing. Raaraa Pro is the celebration of that evolution, of old winds and new waves.

Introducing Mohamed Raaif Shaneez, known on the water as Raiippe, the official event ambassador for Raaraa Pro 2025. A standout in the local kiteboarding scene, Raiippe brings both talent and tenacity to the frontline of this event.

With a track record that includes:
